The highly anticipated remastered versions of the first three Tomb Raider games are set to make their way to console and PC in early 2024, offering players an immersive experience with upgraded visuals. Aptly named Tomb Raider I, II, III Remaster, this exciting package was initially announced for the Nintendo Switch during the September Nintendo Direct event. However, fans will be thrilled to know that the game will also be available on other platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr have joined forces to bring this iconic gaming franchise to life. Scheduled for release on February 14, 2024, Tomb Raider I, II, III Remaster boasts enhanced graphics that can be toggled between the original polygonal style and the updated visuals with just a simple push of a button.

The original three Tomb Raider games were released within a span of three years, captivating players worldwide. The first installment, Tomb Raider, made its debut in 1996, followed by Tomb Raider II the following year, and Tomb Raider III a year after that.

Following the success of the original trilogy, a reboot trilogy was introduced in 2013, which continued with the critically acclaimed Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015 and the thrilling Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 2018. Building on this momentum, Crystal Dynamics is currently working on a brand new Tomb Raider game, with the exciting news that Amazon will be publishing it.

In other exciting Tomb Raider news, fans were delighted to see the iconic Lara Croft make an appearance in Call of Duty with a fresh new design. While it remains uncertain whether this will be the look of the character in the upcoming Tomb Raider game, it certainly adds to the anticipation and speculation surrounding the franchise.

As if that wasn’t enough, fans can also look forward to a Tomb Raider animated series produced by Netflix, featuring the talented Hayley Atwell as the voice of Lara Croft. This promises to be an exciting addition to the Tomb Raider universe, expanding the reach of the beloved character beyond the gaming realm.
