Secrets of Azeroth has commenced on live servers and Blizzard has clarified secrets can be accomplished even after the event is terminated.
The Inquisitive achievement only necessitates the initial days secret. The meta-achievement 
Whodunnit? requires you to finalize each days secret, which can be accomplished even after the event has ceased.
